Live Review: LISTEN: Bok Bok 'Melba's Call' ft. Kelela

BOK BOK is back with a brand new track featuring the wonderful vocals of KELELA called 'Melba's Call'. The South London Night Slugs staple has proven again that he knows how to get people moving with this new one.

BOK BOK has had his fair share of shows in the Boiler Room and has also just been announced for this year's FOR Festival in Croatia alongside TENSNAKE, FORT ROMEAU, MOVEMENT and his partner on 'Melba's Call' KELELA, so with all of those awesome shows being booked, you of course would expect his latest single to be pretty exceptional; luckily it is.

'Melba's Call' has a slow but hard beat that takes one step at a time through KELELA's contribution. The chopped synths create a very structured sound which flows smoothly before halting abruptly. The harmonies that KELELA performs soar high over the swift synths and it's the mix of melodic vocals and popping synths that BOK BOK has used to his advantage.

'Melba's Call' can be streamed through BOK BOK's Soundcloud, however you won't be able to own the track until March 31.
