Ta-ku and Kit Pop have released the third track from their new project Howls and it's got real bite.

If you think TA-KU has been taking a break from creating new tracks then think again, over the course of the past few months, Western Australia's production tycoon has been hard at work for his new side projects HOWLS.

The project is a collaborative effort with the wonderful KIT POP and the bass driven track '003' is a track with bite that basically proves that the partnership is a force to be reckoned with.

Previously, HOWLS had released '001' and '002' on Soundcloud. '001' was a hip hop infused track with a fair few trickling synths and distorted vocals. The mix makes it sound sweetly demonic, like a child in a horror film. '002' came out not too long after and was a lot more upbeat than '001'. With a tropical tang of marimbas and bright synths.

The bass on '003' is definitely what brings the track together. With extremely digital sounding synths that produce an almost hollow sound, the bass runs back in and brings the work into something dense. This latest offering is completely different from HOWLS previous uploads but it shows great diversity.

HOWLS are currently working on their debut EP and have said that '003' will tide us over until it is completed.
