Live Review: FREE DOWNLOAD: Indian Summer 'Run The Gauntlet' Mixtape

Two dudes. Two cities. Two festivals. Twelve Hours. New Years Day 2014 is going to be excessively monstrous for Melbourne duo INDIAN SUMMER. Booked in to play both Sydney's Field Day and Perth's Wonderland Festival, they'll be running around the country with only hours to spare in order to provide the sonic goods.

To amp themselves up for what will surely be both an adventurous and exciting day, the boys have collated a series of original and remixed tracks into an hour-long mixtape titled 'Run The Gauntlet'.

Hosting a variety of local and internationally based acts, the mix celebrates some of the juiciest electronic music going around at the moment. Opening with the patters of Chrome Sparks' spicy 'Lookin At Me', 'Run The Gauntlet' follows with Indian Summer's own remix of 'Listen To Soul, Listen To Blues' originally by Canberra buds Safia. Visiting a combination of feels, we respond to a remix of The Preatures' 'Is This How You Feel' alongside two different mixes of Sage The Gemini's 'Gas Pedal'.

Grabbing a small chunk of Indian Summer's forthcoming single 'Aged Care', we venture on to meet an elite spread of acts including the likes of Airwolf, De$ignated and Cashmere Cat, before finishing up on the boys' stellar remix of Tyler Touche's 'Technicolor Symphony'.
