Live Review: WATCH: Midnight Juggernauts 'Systematic' (Official Video)

WATCH the latest video from the Melbourne-local trio MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS.

Only a few months after the release of their latest album, 'Uncanny Valley', everyone's favourite Melbourne-local pioneering synth-rock trio MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS have released their official video for the track 'Systematic'. Cue the explosion of the internet.

If you made a graph showing percentages of what the internet consisted of back 10 years ago it would've been about 90% homemade 'geocities' websites (R.I.P.) and about 10% weird porn. Now, if you made the same graph again today in 2013, it would be about 90% cats and 10% weird porn. That's what the video clip for 'Systematic' is all about (cat's that is, not weird porn. Sorry).

The video for 'Systematic' takes the already fantastic track to new realms of awesomeness and weirdness. Hypnotic kaleidoscopes mashed together with multiplying patterns made from cats all in black and white hit the viewer without restrain.

“My initial reaction to the video was to laugh throughout—and obviously no animals were harmed," said the bands keyboardist Vincent Vendetta (could be a badass action movie character name, jus' sayin'), when asked about the clip.

He's definitely right, the clip certainly makes you laugh, but in a strange 'am-I-on-acid?' kind of way. Good job lads.
