Live Review: WATCH: Bromance Records Take Over LA

17 November 2013 | 5:22 pm | Nick Luke

BRODINSKI's label BROMANCE invaded ILLANGELO's debut album release party in LA and some video was shot - watch it here.

Just a few weeks ago, the 30th Oct marked the release of ILLANGELO's debut album release on BRODINSKI's experimental techno label BROMANCE RECORDS. To mark this occasion, the BROMANCE family promptly got together and hijacked the US release party for ILLANGELO's album 'History Of Man', and there was a camera rolling whilst this happened.

Over two separate videos, one for LA, and one for NY we see the BROMANCE crew, including BRODINSKI himself, LOUSIAHHH!!!, ILLANGELO, and a bunch of rad dudes cameo-ing (Skrillex, Jerome LOL, Para One, etc.) and partying up the place, all in succinct 3-4 minute span.

The video is shot and edited in an on-the-fly, guerilla fashion - it kind of reminds me of the way some of the Slipknot (shut up yeah I've seen them) documentaries were shot - except, instead of hairy dudes in latex masks, it's hairy French DJs with tattoos - a cool watch, nonetheless.

All in all, the video shows a night full of sweaty dancing, bass heavy techno and all-round fun times & bro-love, all thanks to BROMANCE.
