Death Grips Announce 'No Love Deep Web' Official Release

7 November 2013 | 3:08 pm | Nick Luke

Californian experimental hip-hop duo Death Grips have announced the official release of their album 'No Love Deep Web' on CD/Vinyl/Digital formats.

The experimental hip-hop duo/madmen from Sacramento, California, DEATH GRIPS have announced that their 2012 album 'No Love Deep Web' (possibly the most interesting cover art ever - you'll have to check it out yourselves) will see an official release on Friday 22nd Nov. Hey, that's like, pretty soon you guys!

DEATH GRIPS have been called many things: loud, lo-fi, experimental, geniuses... the list goes on. All of this aside, there really is only one way these guys can be adequately described to newcomers: fucking crazy.

Notorious for skipping out on shows, pissing off fans, and continuously sticking their middle finger up to the record labels they are signed to, DEATH GRIPS are simply a solid force of free flowing raw energy.

A year ago 'No Love Deep Web' was released through the band's website for free download. This was put up by the band despite plans to have the album put on sale by a label as a CD/Vinyl/Digital release. Cue the label dropping them, and a whole torrent of drama following. Move onto now, one year after the controversial release of the album, 'No Love Deep Wep' is seeing an 'official' release through the band's own newly formed label 'Thirdworlds'.

The album will be available digitally, on CD, and LP. The LP will receive a limited run worldwide, with only 150 copies being released in Australia.

In additional news, DEATH GRIPS are reportedly working on a new album, which is hoped to be released sometime in 2014. Fingers crossed.
