Live Review: LISTEN: Banks 'Waiting Game' (Kaytranada Edition)
Banks' track 'Waiting Game' has been remixed by producer Kaytranada for an upcoming compilation that is trying to raise awareness for AIDS.
We love BANKS, but we also love Canadian producer KAYTRANADA and when we found out that he had remixed her track 'Waiting Game', we couldn't wait to hear the results. Now the results are in, and the track is bloody brilliant!
KAYTRANADA is a producer that is just busting out some brilliant material. His tracks 'Hilarity Duff' and 'At All' are both awesome party starters with excellent beats and melodies that are hard to forget.
The remix opens with BANKS' soothing vocals before some pretty soft, but smooth, synths come in and help push the track onto it's feet. The vocals are still relevant in this remix which I think is important as using the entire vocal track is probably the main way you can stay true to a track whilst remixing it.

BANKS wrote on her Soundcloud that KAYTRANADA's edition of 'Waiting Game' is actually going to be featured on a new compilation entitled DANCE (RED). The compilation is to raise money and awareness for AIDS. In the words of BANKS herself:
"Every generation is known for something. Let’s be the one that delivers an AIDS FREE GENERATION. Today and every day 700 babies are born with HIV. We can get that number close to zero. It’s not a question of can we, but will we? That’s why we have come together with (RED)to DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES."
