XXYYXX Announces Laneway Festival Sideshow

The sweet sweet news of LANEWAY FESTIVAL sideshows keep on rollin' in! Just after gracing our shores back in March this year, young US-based producer of diverse R&B-inspired electronica, XXYYXX is set to return in early 2014, which is shaping up to be a cracker of an event.

If news of his arrival for the festival wasn't enough for the likes of you avid fans out there, fear not: XXYYXX will be sticking around to play just one intimate sideshow whilst he's here for his brief stay.

With the producer turning only 18 (eighteen!?) just yesterday, he released a birthday track of sorts for free download over on his soundcloud - a vibey little tune full of vocoded vocals, chiming harmonies and boppy rhythms entitled 'Angel'. You can be darned sure you'll be treated to this track as well as a tonne of fancy new ones at XXYYXX's eclectic live shows.

Now, if you're missing out on seeing the dude live at LANEWAY, or you just want to see him perform again, you might be disappointed if you're living away from Melbourne. That's right, XXYYXX's one and only sideshow for LANEWAY will be at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne city on Tuesday 4th February - sorry in advance to all ya'll living elsewhere (myself included).
