Live Review: LISTEN: Snakadaktal 'Fall Underneath' (Hayden James Remix)
Hayden James has created a blissful remix to Snakadaktal's track 'Fall Underneath'.

Doesn't this make us feel special? The excellent part is that it's basically true, our home has an abundance of talented musicians that the world still hasn't seen the likes of yet. One band we are obviously really proud to call Aussies are the lovely ambient group SNAKADATKTAL. Their debut album Sleep In the Water just made everyone melt and has lead to major success for the band overseas.

Sleep in The Water was a long time coming with the band already having huge hits with 'Dance Bear' and 'Air' and with the debut album came more exposure and a wider fan base which included our lovely friend and producer, HAYDEN JAMES. This guy has been busy doing things of his own including getting booked to play live shows in Brisbane for the city's Valley Fiesta music festival and the inaugural Plot festival in Melbourne and Sydney. HAYDEN JAMES said he loved SNAKADAKTAL's original mix to their track 'Fall Underneath' and he liked it so much that he decided a lovely remix would be something good to share.
The remix stays true to the original mixes ambient nature and dream-pop influence, whilst adding in a new hip-hop beat and an extensive list of buzzing synths. The remix of 'Fall Underneath' gives the track a fresh new light that keep the wonderful soft guitar riff that echoes throughout the original. HAYDEN JAMES has definitely shown his admiration for the track by keeping these original elements whilst also adding in his own flavour. The remix is one that will hopefully be featured in his live sets and perhaps if more remixes of Sleep In The Water tracks emerge, we may be treated to a SNAKADAKTAL remix EP. Wouldn't that be lovely?
HAYDEN JAMES will be appearing at Valley Fiesta in Brisbane and The Plot in Melbourne and Sydney in the coming months.
