Live Review: LISTEN: Ryan Hemsworth 'Against A Wall' feat. Lofty305
Ryan Hemsworth has released the first track to be featured on his debut LP Guilt trips, entitled 'Against A Wall'.
RYAN HEMSWORTH just left Australia after touring the country with his awesome live show. With KAYTRANADA by his side, the hype surrounding the gigs was even bigger than anticipated and if you weren't there, everyone who did attend one of HEMSWORTH's shows could tell you that he did not disappoint.
After flying back home to Canada, he dropped a new single for us all to listen too until he returns back to us. The track is called 'Against A Wall' and features the vocal stylings of Miami rapper, LOFTY305. The track is a lovely, calm refreshment after the energised shows that RYAN HEMSWORTH produced whilst he was here in Australia.
The synths are nice and calm, flowing like nice cool water down a stream of beats that are light and slightly distorted. LOFTY305 offers up a great dish of rhymes that just meld in with the melody of 'Against A Wall' perfectly, this pairing has done a world of good.

The hip-hop elements projecting from the beat fall into the blissful melody and layered synths that charge throughout 'Against A Wall'. It's a great track and wait for it, is the first track to be released from RYAN HEMSWORTH's forthcoming debut album! The good part is we have some more information about the debut release now and we just can't keep it all to ourselves now can we?
Entitled Guilt Trips the record will be released through Canadian-based label Last Gang Records, who also have worked with CRYSTAL CASTLES and MSTRKRFT.
Guilt Trips will be released on October 22.
