Honestly I love telling people I’m a Kiwi. There’s something so awesome about people knowing you’re from one of the most beautiful countries in the world, it makes you feel just that little bit more special on certain days.

The music scene in new Zealand is a bit different from ours over here in Australia though, luckily Kiwi talent travels here all the time and one Kiwi girl we can’t get enough of is LORDE.

Recently filling in for FRANK OCEAN at this years Splendour In the Grass, LORDE has pretty much become one of the best up-and-coming artists of 2013, and she’s not even seventeen yet! Her tracks ‘Royals’ and ‘The Love Club’ have received a lot of positive feedback and she has gained fans left, right and centre, LORDE has just released a new track called ‘Team’.

LORDE wrote her fans a little message:

“I am in Paris as I release this. Every street we drive down makes my eyes pop with the most incredible things carved in stone, and gilded on pillars, and wrought with metal; the heroes and heroines of this city aren’t so hard to find. This song’s are a little more mismatched, less classic courtesans on their pedestals, but nonetheless brilliant. this song is kinda of that world, and at the same time, very much of this one. enjoy.”

Yes LORDE, as you say we will in fact enjoy.
