Melbourne indie band TWERPS announce Aussie co-headline tour with Canadian garage-pop crooner MAC DEMARCO.
The bittersweet sounds of indie Melbourne-ite band TWERPS have announced that they will be teaming up with Canada's one and only garage-pop crooner MAC DEMARCO for a couple of live shows in Melbourne and Sydney over December, and what's better news? They're co-headlining together! Double your fun, two for one - all of that good stuff.
TWERPS have rocketed their way through the US, Canada, NZ and their home turf (Australia, duh) in recent years, playing shows, releasing a tonne of music on many different labels and slaying the hearts of fans along the way. So what's next for them? The band will be heading back into the studio to work on album number two, so you can bet that they'll be premiering a bunch of new material at these special December shows.

Already en route for the upcoming Meredith Music Festival, MAC DEMARCO will be joining TWERPS for these shows, bringing along with him his decade-jumping blend of style, spanning from 50s rockabilly to 80s new-romanticism all whilst hanging onto that charisma-heavy garage-pop sensibility he is known for.
After the smooth, swoon-inducing single 'Baby's Wearing Blue Jeans' in 2012, his latest album, simply named 'MAC DEMARCO 2' has just been released locally on Spunk Records.
