Live Review: STREAM: Washed Out 'Paracosm' LP

7 August 2013 | 12:29 pm | Lauren Payne

Music Feeds and Intertia have teamed up to bring you a full stream of Washed Out's new album Paracosm.

It's been a long wait and we've had a few teasers thrown at us from the chilled beat-maker WASHED OUT, but now Music Feeds have teamed up with Intertia records to stream WASHED OUT's new album in full.

The album is full of the wonderfully ethereal tracks that we've come to love from WASHED OUT over the course of his career and as we wait for his new album Paracosm to be released this Friday, August 9, we can at least take a look at what we will be treated to when we buy the album for ourselves.

WASHED OUT's tracks always bring a sort of content happiness to any situation and now that Paracosm is almost released, we will be able to use that to brighten up our day as tracks like 'It All Feels Right' wash over us.

The smooth synths trickle down the sultry beat and WASHED OUT's echoing vocals just give each track an even lighter edge that just makes the entire album feel like a floating ball of light. 'Don't Give Up' is a wonderful track that's incredibly uplifting and I strongly urge you to watch the music video if you haven't just yet as it's a wonderfully colourful video with beautiful imagery. Each track seems to flow this way and we honestly couldn't ask for much more on Paracosm, WASHED OUT has made another standout album, that's something I can say honestly.

Listening to the sounds and actually seeing how they work is always intriguing as well, luckily the mini-documentary that WASHED OUT created with the Creators Project, Exploring the Sounds of Paracosm, is available to watch and it's interesting for almost anyone who's ever wondered how some musicians record amazing tracks like these on Paracosm.

WASHED OUT has pretty much made everyone very excited about the release of Paracosm, so now with this stream on Music Feeds, sit back, relax, and listen to the album you'll be buying this Friday.
