Rainbow Chan 'Long Vacation' EP + Tour Details

Our mates at Silo Arts have opened our eyes to a lot of great artists over the past few months and one that has caught our eye quite a lot is the lovely RAINBOW CHAN.

With a love of story telling, RAINBOW CHAN has mixed in her favourite things with some electronic elements to create tracks that shine with personality and charm. The Sydney-sider is constantly collecting bits and bobs that inspire her music and after a while, people began to take notice. Now this girl is bigger than crocs were (remember those dark days?).

Her mix of vintage licks and electronic landscapes with layers of textures and glitchy sounds, RAINBOW CHAN's music is quite nostalgic with a touch of light pop embedded in a world of her own imagining. It's this that brought on the 7" 'Skinny Dipping' released through Silo Arts, a performance at Iceland Airwaves and a huge string of singles that you just can't forget.

Now finally as her busy schedule continues to be filled, RAINBOW CHAN can now add her debut EP to her resume. The EP is entitle Long Vacation and utilises everything we love about RAINBOW CHAN to bring on a cute sunny day no matter where you are in the world.

Only five songs feature on Long Vacation however, these songs just capture the entire essence of RAINBOW CHAN from her heritage, to the vintage elements that she loves today. The trickling synths on 'In A Foreign Tounge' make things seem innocent, pure and just plain beautiful. We can't get enough of it and neither will you. Long Vacation is now available through iTunes and Amazon, but of course that's not where the story ends.

RAINBOW CHAN is kicking of her Australia and New Zealand tour this week in Brisbane, before jet setting off down the coast and then over the Tasman to our kiwi brothers and sisters. Pinning this girl down is a difficult task so I say don't try, just go to her show and see why everyone loves RAINBOW CHAN.
