5 August 2013 | 3:51 pm | Gabe Gleeson

We love bringing you the best new music here at PURPLE SNEAKERS, this week we're streaming the first listen to TYLER TOUCHE's 'Technicolor Symphony' EP

We always love bringing you the best new music here at PURPLE SNEAKERS, this week we're streaming the first listen to TYLER TOUCHE's brand new EP, Technicolor Symphony.

You might be aware of TOUCHE from his massive debut single 'Baguette', which has received an abundance of domestic radio love over the last twelve months (you'll hear it as the second track on this release). The 17 year old Brisbanite, Jordan Hankins is fresh from a performance at this year's SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS festival, alongside acts like THE NATIONAL and THE PRESETS.

Disco funk vibes are plentiful here, the production on 'Technicolor Symphony' definitely gives a nod to French electronic acts like CHROMEO and BREAKBOT. The title track features vocal duties from Purple Sneakers favourite STERLING SILVER and features a beautiful 'Baby I'm Yours' style groove. TOUCHE's wonderful influences aside, this release definitely showcases a very organically born signature sound for the artist and firmly proves that he's a producer who's here to stay.
