Live Review: LISTEN: Holy Ghost! 'Okay'

New York duo HOLY GHOST! have released their track 'Okay', taken from their forthcoming record Dynamics. Punchy and dominant, it's definitely worthy of your attention.

This track is equipped with a funky rhythm, a walking beat and tensive lyricism, all unique in their own respective demeanour, yet work perfectly together to create the life and spirit of 'Okay'.

The oozing synths and elevated dominance of certain notes and keylines in this tune are just extra zest that help make this track as infectious as it is, resonating with its audience in both a fun yet dizzy light. Although this fun feeling is somewhat trapped in guilt once the lyrics are taken into account, due to the obstructive connotations that continue to build until the very last vocal.

Holy Ghost!'s 'Okay' is available now through iTUNES, and will feature on the outfits forthcoming album Dynamics that is set to be released on Tuesday, 10th September via prestigious dance label DFA Records.
