Have you ever woken up after a chaotic party and realised how much damage you and your mates had actually done the previous night? How how much damage was actually inflicted on you? Well that's what we've seen happen here in SNAKADAKTAL's new music video for their latest single 'Hung On Tight'.
The track is the first to be taken from their debut album and released out into the big wide world, and the sultry sounds it brings along with it help tell a very interesting story with it's accompanying film clip that has now been released.
The story starts with a boy in an ice bath. His lips are blue and he is lying lifeless, until he all of a sudden catches his breath and wakes up. Realising where he is is the next step as he walks to the mirror and discovers a huge cut on the side of his torso. Yep, someone tried to take his kidney, or successfully did we don't really know for sure, either way the boy is cut badly and for some reason, is still bleeding. Friends are passed out in the lounge and kitchen, cereal half eaten with glitter and steamers hanging lifelessly everywhere.

Then of course the loss of blood causes the boy to collapse and paramedics have to shock him back to life, before leaving him, still bleeding, The film clip is a little daunting but definitely eye catching.
The new album is entitled Sleep In The Water and is due for release on August 2 through I OH YOU. SNAKAKDATKTAL have a series of shows coming up to support the release including shows with the legendary ALT-J, their own Splendour In The Grass appearance and of course their forthcoming headline tour.
