Now I am very proud to say that I am one PURPLE SNEAKERS cat that is based in Brisbane. Up here the local music scene is slowly being taken over by bands of all genres left right and centre.

There are your metal crew, the indie kids, the rockers and of course those producers and DJs. Every venue in Brisbane seems to have it's own theme, or genre if you will, and some of my personal favourites tend to play the best electronic music every weekend as seen in our Top Five Brisbane Venues list.

Now one person that should be playing at said venues is a little electronic artist called TYLER TOUCHE. This wizard is actually underage and although he hasn't been seen in any clubs just yet, his tracks have been blowing up over the internet and his newest track is a remix of yet another Australian artist that is making his way in the musical world, STERLING SILVER.

STERLING SILVER has spent most of his musical career behind the mixing desk helping produce tracks for DCUP and a few other great artists, but has now released his debut single 'End Up Like This'. The original track is very dance-worthy, with shining synths and a great beat it's like summer has returned for three minutes.

The TYLER TOUCHE remix is a lot more calm than it's predecessor. It's still got those sunny synths bouncing through the track, but the energy is quieter and the track sounds more like a relaxed night rather than a summer party, which of course are both still awesome.

TYLER TOUCHE has just released the first single from his debut EP entitled 'Heart In Motion' and it's getting a lot of attention on Triple J right now, so not only is TYLER TOUCHE an artist you should watch and stop by his set at Splendour In The Grass as well if you feel so inclined. STERLING SILVER should probably also be on your radar, as his track is obviously getting noticed and well, it's a fun track that you'll replay.
