Italian born, London based producer PHONAT released his new EP Identity Theft earlier this month. The six-track album documenting his incredible, spunky production has just seen its second last song - 'Ride The Prejudice' - released as a very prestigious video clip.

If you've ever been to Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art, you're going to find that the video for 'Ride The Prejudice' resonates with what you'd discover in the gallery.

Contorting a series of shapes, colours and objects by placing them in the centre of a blank space and shapeshifting them into new domains is basically the entire operation of this video. With every figure working as a portal for the next animated object, the flux of colours and activity that take up the clip's frame make up a very quirky and clever film clip.

Clearly produced through 3D modelling, the thoughtful inclusion of shadowing and identifiable items allow a sense of realism in this very modernistic video. Group all of this together with the sophisticated instrumentation of 'Ride The Prejudice' and suddenly the sounds and visuals perfectly work like two peas in a pod.

Released through OWSLA, grab Phonat's Identity Theft now on either iTUNES or BEATPORT; whatever you're into.
