Live Review: WATCH: Maribou State ft. Holly Walker 'Larks Rise' (Official Video)

British outfit MARIBOU STATE have recently buddied up with vocalist HOLLY WALKER to release their sensual new track, 'Larks Rise'. Drawing and exhaling a puff of heaven, the dreamy track has just been given the film clip treatment, directed by Jack Benson and Rafael Gibbons.

We follow a couple for a day through busy streets, market stalls and grocery shops, to eventually gain a sense that something isn't quite right. The viewed relationship seems to have entered a devolving world of decay, as the man's lady friend doesn't appear to be acting her usual self.

Setting off a flare is an indication that one is seeking help, so when it's her partner that comes to retrieve her, what is their left to do? Rejuvenate; as symobolised through the bath cleanse of her and the face shave of he. The only point of contact between the two fragmented souls being the ignition of a Pall Mall cigarette.

Maribou State's 'Larks Rise' has been released on the Tongue EP through Southern Fried Records. The EP is available to purchase off iTUNES.
