The music of Melbourne trio I'LLS manages to create congruence between futuristic values and classically strong ideas, each track's complexity disappears into the effortless melodic layers that comprise them.
The band's current live shows are centred around their two latest singles taken from an upcoming EP titled ‘A Warm Reception’ which will be released in June.

It follows on from 2011’s self-released EP titled, ‘Thread’ which received strong love across community radio nationwide. After its release I'LLS were handpicked to perform at the PARKLIFE FESTIVAL, having played only one show prior. Since then the band have been selected to support international and local luminaries, including: XXYYXX, CHET FAKER, FLUME, SBTRKT, OLIVER TANK, COLLARBONES, OPOSSOM and PVT.
I'LLS second EP ‘A Warm Reception’ will be released through Yes Please in June and they'll be doing a launch show tomorrow night (Saturday, May 18) at Melbourne's TOFF IN TOWN to celebrate! Supports will include GALAPPAGOOSE & Lindsay Tuc.
