Live Review: LISTEN: Disclosure 'You & Me' ft. Eliza Doolittle (Toro Y Moi Remix)

Chillwave pioneer TORO Y MOI has just put out his adaptation of DISCLOSURE's latest single 'You & Me' featuring ELIZA DOOLITTLE, accompanying other remixes from US heavyweight BAAUER and London's BICEP.

Here we get treated to a remix that favours creating an engaging dynamic by chopping up the vocal's rather than celebrating the single's sing-along-ability. Underneath this lie fairly simple, sparse synth chords adorned with that signature TORO Y MOI flanger soaked sound.

TORO Y MOI is currently on tour in Europe with his live band and will be returning to the United States in July, touring solidly up until November, taking a short break to duck across to Japan to make an appearance at this year's FUJI ROCK event. Keep up with his current tour schedule HERE.

Also worth checking out is the video for TORO Y MOI's latest single 'Never Matter' which dropped late last week. Caution, it get's creepy towards the end.
