Live Review: LISTEN: Disclosure 'F For You'

Being in a band wit your brother always seems like it could end in disaster. The constant bickering over who gets to watch what shows, the petty crimes of stealing one’s sock and the other’s last chip. When a band of brother’s works together however it's sensational... just take a look at DISCLOSURE.

With the lack of sibling rivalry within the band, DISCLOSURE have together created some of the most memorable dance tunes and even stopped over at our very own CANT SAY to deliver a stellar set of electronic smoothness.

Guy and Howard Lawrence have taken over the electronic world with their singles 'Latch' (featuring the vocal of SAM SMITH) and of course the track that shot them through the roof of their place in the UK 'White Noise' featuring the beautiful ALUNAGEORGE. Now check out a new track, taken from their debut album Settle called 'F For You'.

As soon as you press play you know you’re in for a stellar dance track. The fast-paced beat is prominent in the track and kind of drives it, the synths stay quiet whilst the vocals chime “I’ve been infected,” but like I said, the beat leads the way. There is a drop where some pretty incredible synths swing over the beat and swirl around like colourful smoke.

There is a break where the entire song slows down though, and that’s where you feel the psychedelic influence behind “F For You” and it is the one part that definitely stands out from the rest of the track, these brothers know how to work a synth.

DISCLOSURE have used “F For You” as a little teaser to their upcoming debut album which is due for release in Australia on May 31. The boys have been dropping hints all over their Facebook page as to who will be featuring on the album getting fans even more excited about the release than they already are, meaning if they were falling of their chairs before, they’ll be falling off toadstools now!
