What happens when two male DJs (A-Trak & Tommy Trash) get together? They line up freshly sandpapered toast for a domino effect around the kitchen table!

What happens when two young male DJs get together? They line up 25 pieces of freshly sandpapered toast for a domino effect around the kitchen table of course! It’s not some kind of music joke but part of the peek into A-TRAK and TOMMY TRASH’s new music video for ‘Tuna Melt’.

The combination of Canadian (A-Trak) and Australian (Trash) quirkiness ramps up the video into something completely different for a dance track. A four-minute overly complex contraption follows a chain reaction of all sorts of objects in a 19th-century mansion (poster above the bed shows us it belongs to A-Trak himself) all in the aim to create to reach the silver platter endpoint – a melted cheese tuna sandwich.

The behind-the-scenes clip of just over two minutes gives a brief look into the making of the video. Thanks to the work of director Ryan Staake and creative mind Lunatim Rex a.k.a. “Kinetic King” (Guinness World Record Holder) the run looks seamless, although it travels through almost all of A-Trak’s house and uses up his plastic cups, bath toys, bread and sticks.

How did he film under bathwater? How do sticks travel up stairs? How do you attach paper cups to a chandelier? All these and more critical questions answered.

And when Staake kicks of with “whatever happens, happens” – I don’t think they expected it to turn out so good.
