So. You've heard of CASHMERE CAT, yeah? Surely, you've heard of him by now? Well I don't have time to explain, but I do have time to tell you about the latest extension of his new found fame. A brand new Remix package EP.

This Norwegian kid is coming off some seriously impressive live performances at the SXSW just gone, and that was coming off of an equally impressive EP release late last year. His Mirror Maru EP, although released in Novemeber 2012, is still a favourite for DJs, record selectors and electronic fans alike. His playful attitude and sound has won over critics and now that sound has been touched up by a number of the worlds most tastemaking producers.

The Mirror Maru Remixes EP has just been released, and it features re-touches by recent CANT SAY headliners, Feadz & Kito, as well as Busy P. Now although we haven't heard those re-fixes, we do have the touch ups done by LidoLido, Canblaster and Gucci Vump.

Legend of France techno and Club Cheval member, Canblaster, turns the electro-funk synth riffs up to 11 on his 'Kiss Kiss' remix, moving between smooth R&B and glitchy electro noise.

G. Vump (aka, Gucci Vump) is the newly formed duo of Bromance leader, Brodinski and The Shoes member, Guillaume. Their little touch on the title track, mixes snapping hip hop bumps with hooky piano lines, sizzling strings and sweet vocal snatches.

The closer on the EP, is the remix by fellow Norwegian wonder kid, LidoLido. His remix is a disjointed Disco re-take, with heaps of 80's Synths, hopping bass lines, trap beats and 808 nostalgia.

The Mirror Maru Remixes EP is out now via a colab release from Pelican Fly and Ed Banger Records. You can grab the 4 track version (without the LidoLido remix) on 12", but if you want the full thang - head to your local iTunes.
