Live Review: LISTEN: Para One 'Every Little Thing' ft. Irfane & Teki Latex (Plastic Plates Remix)

Felix Bloxsom you saucy disco minx. Better known as PLASTIC PLATES, this Sydney-sider brings us his latest creation, being the remixed sounds of PARA ONE’s ‘Every little Thing’ a track featuring Irfance & Teki Latex from 2012.

The original track by Jean-Baptiste de Laubier, aka PARA ONE is so wholly French. It’s sexy, it’s chilled and it’s so damn classy. Choppy synths, and the unmistakably cool sounds of IRFANE on the vocals make this track an absolute pleasure to listen to. PLASTIC PLATES has recently put out his version of the track, which he notes on his Soundcloud as one of his favourite tunes of 2012.

Keeping the vocals pretty much exactly as they were, but weaving his nu-disco magic throughout, PLASTIC PLATES manages to reconstruct this track in ways only he can whilst at the same time being respectful of the original like a true gentleman.

A little more intense and beat heavy than the original, the PLASTIC PLATES remix of ‘Every Little Thing’ is still easy on the ears, and well worth a listen or two.
