Sydney garage pop ruffians BLOODS have just released a fantastic and very interesting cover of Adina Howard's 'Freak Like Me', probably better known for The Sugarbabes 2002 cover. Very generously the band have passed it to us for a PURPLE SNEAKERS premiere!
It's late 90s R'n'B meets late 80s 'Rough Trade' era indie pop and makes for a delicious musical treat. Wall of sound guitars and airy, ambient vocals give this cover a very interesting edge and set it solidly apart from either previous version
