Live Review: LISTEN: The Magician 'Magic Tape Thirty'

Just like clockwork THE MAGICIAN re-apears on the internet with another instalment for his Magic Tape Series, this time with the milestone making Magic Tape Thirty.

For those out there that may have caught any of THE MAGICIAN's previous Magic Mixes listening to the latest addition Magic Tape Thirty you may notice a stylistic shift, mainly that this (and the previous few mixtapes) have had a more open embrace of sounds belonging in the arena of deep house to counterbalance all the disco.

Given THE MAGICIAN's playful experimentation with styles the finished product makes for enjoyable listening thanks to the way these very style amalgamate into a dreamy and distinct partnership.
