Tribal rhythms and retro synth feature on the latest track from MOULLINEX, and congo drums work percussive magic.

'Darkest Night' won't disappoint fans of the Portuguese producer's tribal-flavoured electro, with its congo drum and skulking bass riff. Both the vocal mix and the dub edit have enough swagger to perk your mood on a grey mid-week day.

Off the debut LP Flora, released through Gomma, 'Darkest Night' sounds like the night-time, and like waiting for something to happen. The space in the dark is supported by the percussive backbone, until you get your night vision in time for it to fall away.
