If you haven't heard of HAIM already, thank us later. An LA-based band of three sisters, who make super-sweet melodic pop with retro and electro influences, HAIM bring a welcome dose of feel-good.

The EP Forever was released early in 2012, and earned them significant and well-deserved hype and momentum that has picked up pace since. The title track of the EP is a slice of clever indie pop, with tribal percussion bubbling beneath an irresistible pop hook.

'Don't Save Me' is the second release and even better. Harking back to the 80s in tone, it showcases beautifully floral melodies executed with effortless and sincere vocals.

The three sisters were in the cover band ROCKINHAIM with their parents while growing up, and were reared on a steady diet of the classics. From FLEETWOOD MAC to JONI MITCHELL to SANTANA, a thorough musical education was their childhood. When the 90s hit, so did their discovery of mainstream radio and R&B.

The sheer musical talent and gravitas of the HAIM sisters, acquired through experience, shines in spades. Danielle's skills of guitar and percussion were requested personally by JULIAN CASABLANCAS, who she subsequently toured with.

The three sisters, having broken away from their parents and pursued solo endeavours, decided to regroup as HAIM. Their ability to write great songs, the industry cred they've already earned and their infectious stage presence assures us that the family name will be on everyone's lips soon enough.

HAIM have signed with Polydor Records and their debut LP is due to be released this year.
