Live Review: LISTEN: Delphic 'Baiya'

English alternative-electro rockers DELPHIC released their debut album Acolyte back in 2010, and this is a taste of the upcoming sophomore release. It's infectious hybrid music, unashamed pop at its heart.

Indie rock meets synthesised harmonies in 'Baiya' - chockas full of slick hooks, climbing throughout its 4 minute lifespan, spacing out briefly before coming home on the back of some rhythmic handclaps.

Collections is to be released on January 28 2013 - otherwise known as my 27th birthday. You're welcome, DELPHIC. The band collaborated with producer Ben Allen of BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB success on the album.

Collections will sadly not feature their official 2012 Summer Olympics anthem 'Good Life', which premiered on Zane Lowe's BBC1 programme.
