Throw on some sunscreen and get frolicking out in that sun because it's time to have a listen to Dick Diver's new track 'Alice'.

Throw on some sunscreen and get frolicking out in that sun because it's time to have a listen to DICK DIVER's new track 'Alice', and this is a track that you will not want to listen to while confined to the indoors.

With influences as wide ranging as psych-rock, New York Punk, 90s indie and sun-soaked Australiana, Melbourne's DICK DIVER have a sound that is at one point totally familiar and yet somehow undefinable. They have previously released an EP Arks Up in 2009, with 2011 seeing the four-piece release their debut LP Never Start Again, which gained a lot traction on community radio and Triple J which built moment for the group that has seen them tour strongly and popping up as the support for a host of acts.

In 'Alice' we have the perfect little mid-tempo foot tapping tune indulging in the 'let's tell a delightful story', mode of song writing, which is back up perfectly by a melodic guitar strumming the ends with a nice little solo right in the final moments.
