Things are going pretty swimmingly for CANT SAY alumni, STILLWATER GIANTS, at the moment. Not only have they just landed their latest single ‘Not Like The Others’ a spot on rotation at Triple J, they have also just released the tracks accompanying video.

The 4-piece Perth act are currently one of the most talked about acts in the local scene. So it makes sense that they got themselves one of the most hyped local directors, Moonclad Kid, to put together the clip. The result is a bright video that encapsulates the personalities of the band perfectly.

It seems that there is a real abundance within the Australian music community of the classic, ‘Road Trip’ styled music videos – to the point where it all just seems a little bit too clichéd and uninspired. But with the Pilerats local behind the helms of the video, the Giants have managed to give the ‘Road Trip Clip’ a brand new spin.

Instead of just bright days, summer nights and old school vehicles, the clip bases itself around different fantasy scenarios with a hitch-hiker. So that means; a babe, some beer bongs, impressive golf tricks and a gimp scene (yep, you read that last one right) – oh and of course, it still has some serious sunlight, the open road and a ridiculously bad arse 50’s Ford E58.

Combine this with the smooth guitar tones and tropical themes running throughout this blissful track and you have a combination that will get you very excited for the coming summer months.

‘Not Like The Others’ is a clip that really isn’t like the others. And yes, we realise that we are the most hilarious people you’ve ever met after saying that.

Stillwater Giants plan on keeping this momentum going as they are heading out on a national tour in December to coincide with the launch of their new EP ‘Fly Under The Radar’, which is due out October 5. For all the relevant details, head to their Facebook.
