PURPLE SNEAKERS PRESENTS: The Early Hours ft. Hunting Grounds

11 September 2012 | 3:00 pm | Staff Writer

NEW NEW NEW PARTY!!!!! Purple Sneakers and CANT SAY presents THE EARLY HOURS feat. Hunting Grounds, Bleeding Knees Club Djs and many more!

Purple Sneakers and CANT SAY are proud to present THE EARLY HOURS. On our opening night, we are proud to be blessed with the rich talents of HUNTING GROUNDS.

The former JJJ Unearther High winners have gone from strength to strength in the past 12 months, culminating in the massive success of their single 'Flaws'. Debut album 'In Hindsight' built upon that success and has seen the band perform around the country with the likes of YACHT CLUB DJs and others. The sextet will be performing live as headliners.

Also along for the ride are surf-pop slackers BLEEDING KNEES CLUB. Having already taken over the UK via Vice Party shows and rave NME reviews, BKC have returned to their homeland for a dose of sunshine and authentic Australian beer. The pair will grace The Early Hours stage in DJ form, with a set that will no doubt include a swag of tracks from their outstanding debut LP 'Nothing To Do'.

But the party doesn't end there. Also plucked from JJJ Unearthed, Melbourne trio THE RED LIGHTS will be performing live, as well as a DJ set from I OH YOU. Resident DJs include INDIAN SUMMER DJs, PLAY, TOMDERSON, MAT CANT, LEWIS CANT CUT, MARQUEE MOON, KUTAAP and more.

And if that wasn't enough, beers and mimosa's are both $5, with tequila shots and skittle bombs $7 a peice. Go on, get yourself down to Banana Alley, Monday November 5th untilTHE EARLY HOURS!
