Live Review: WATCH: Parklife 2012 Audio/Visual Mash-Up Teaser

Are you excited for PARKLIFE? We’re pretty damn excited. If you haven’t gotten around to checking out the lineup yet, it’s another massive one this year that features...

The Presets first shows in a couple of years, as well as Tame Impala, Passion Pit, a Justice DJ set and our favourite upcoming home grown producers in Flume and Parachute Youth. Oh, and there’s a hell of a lot more on there. Australia’s YouTube mash-up kings, Nice & Ego had a crack at putting the entire lineup’s brilliance into a 3 minute clip. And they did an incredible job indeed.

Not only is it incredibly pleasing on the eyes, it’s also incredibly pleasing on the ears – somehow the duo managed to combine all of acts together with ease and more importantly smooth flowing transitions. Where else are you going to be able to hear Citizens! mixed in with Flume and Jacques Lu Cont before hearing The Presets smash over the top of Tame Impala?

This just continues the absolute killing that Nice & Ego have been doing across the internet and the country as of late. As the Parklife video is not the first time we have seen these two guys mess with a lineup or two as they have previously worked on mash-up videos of Triple J’s Hottest 100 and Splendour In The Grass. Which earned them AV/DJ slots across the country, including a show at our own CANT SAY earlier this month as well as a slot at Splendour itself.

We have the clip for you below, so have a look and good luck trying to decipher which song is playing where. Because we can’t figure it out.
