WIN: Snakadaktal at The Metro Theatre Double Pass

Phoebe, Sean, Joseph, Jarrah and Barna. You may otherwise know these five cool kids as SNAKADAKTAL. If not, yay new fact learnt for the day!

SNAKADAKTAL were crowned Triple J Unearthed Winners in 2011 and within the space of then and now, have only continued to prove themselves as one of Melbourne’s most promising acts. Come on, their single ‘Air’ even made it onto the most recent Triple J Hottest 100 at number 22.

If you’re yet to see this quintet perform live, then you probably should. They’re about to head out on a huge tour in support of their latest tune ‘Dance Bear’ (Check out the killer Ta-Ku remix above), so now’s your chance.

What if we told you you could win a DOUBLE PASS to their all ages show at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on August 11? Now we’re talking. Supports will be provided by lovely live acts SURES & FISHING. More info on the event HERE

My signature move is influenced by the stick insect. stick insects keep their feet still but sway the way a branch would. When dancing, my feet are solidly on the ground, and my upper body flows with the rhythm of the music. I am stick insect man.

The animal that best describes my signature dance move- ‘The Lazy Susan’ would most likely be the infamous ‘Honey Badger’ the world’s most dangerous animal and number hunter. If you don;t believe me, Google it. I’ve failed in finding an appropriate or conventional way of drawing parallels… So I’ve written it in a acrostic poem… Enjoy.
H- ey! Is that the Lazy Susan? Sweet move, pal!
O- h yeah! The Lazy Susan! That sure is a great dance move, friend!
