Last week we gave you the bubble blowing, outfit swapping, hyper colour madness that was the promo video for part one of Victory Team's 'Der Klerb' EP.

Today we are so excited to give you Der Klerb Pt. I in its entirety, available for streaming and free download via SOUNDCLOUD!

As we mentioned last Monday, Victory Team is the project of Melbournite Chevy Long.  The 'Der Klerb' EP is the result of a year spent traveling and touring, soaking up influences from clubs, sounds n' scenes world wide (check the comments section once you drop these tracks into iTunes for some interesting cataloguing).

Though he allegedly listened exclusively to KISS until his mid-teens, Long's introduction to electronic music began with French house and the explosion of Europe's various club scenes in the mid-2000s, with artists like Boys Noize, SebastiAn, Kavinsky, Digitalism and Crystal Castles capturing his imagination early on.

Since then, after having built an impressive name domestically as one half of Indian Summer DJsLong has shifted his attention to a new generation of producers - exploring everything from French collective Club Cheval to British composer Gold Panda.

In listening to Victory Team's debut label release, these influences remain present, though help only to form a vision and sound which is, dare we say it, unique. Though thoroughly choppy and detailed in its use of appropriated vocal samples and percussion, Long establishes a decidedly drawn-out and driving sound with his instrumentation, a technique complimented heavily with the use of slower tempos.

Toddla T (BBC Radio 1) gave it the thumbs up, 'Sounds wiiicked, bloody brilliant'.

Everyone's favourite relative Cousin Cole gave his blessing, saying 'This is dope. Especially into Big Up & Knice'.

And the local hero/total babe that brings you Mix Up Exclusives on Triple J every Saturday night, Nina Las Vegas has backed Victory Team's sound, saying 'I love smart dance music and this is smart!'

See what they're all so excited about below!
