Live Review: The XX: 'Coexist' Tracklisting + 'Angels'

More great news from THE XX camp. In anticipation of their Australian Tour this week, UK trio THE XX have announced the track list for their upcoming sophomore album Coexist.

The 11 track record will be out September 7th through Young Turks and Remote Control, but if you can't wait til then...

'Angels' utilizes minimal production, but the little it does is perfectly arranged. Romy Madley Croft is breath-y and delicate in her vocal delivery, serving up those same effortlessly soothing tones we adored from their self-titled debut. Echoing guitars create a softness which combine with Croft's voice to generate a peaceful yet gut wrenching ambience. Put simply: Beautiful. Elegant. Heartbreaking.

It's such a relief to know that even after such a long break, THE XX have still got it.
