Live Review: LISTEN: Them Jeans 'Summer 2012 Mixtape'

Our buddy Jason Stewart, aka Dim Mak's Them Jeans, who played Last Night (our Sydney club) last year, has put together a brand new mix for what is the summer period over in the states. Are you getting it now? A summer mixtape usually means that it's chocked full of tropical beats, and this tape is no different. Coming off the back of a couple of massive remixes, including remakes of Kindness's 'House' and Childish Gambino's 'Heartbeat (which featured on the Kitsune America Mixtape) - Stewart has produced a mix that warms the soul and moves the feet.

Featuring Simian Mobile Disco, Van She, Disclosure, Clams Casino and 3 appearances from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, the mix is packed with the best summer dance tracks you can get your hands on. It's also incredibly well put together as it comes across as a really smooth listen, with each track flowing to the next seamlessly - proving why this guy is so damn popular at the moment.

If anything, it's 50 minutes of tropical grooves and summery beats to take you away from wishing you could actually go outside to buy food today.
