Live Review: WATCH: Oh Mercy 'Deep Heat' Teaser

Oh cruel world. Why be so cruel for? This teaser is a cruel cruel joke on you, me and the entire world. Why? Because OH MERCY show you nothing, except some snippets of showgirls dancing, and static. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? WHAT IS TO COME? WHY WONT YOU TELL ME NOW?

The deal is simply this: Oh Mercy have a brand new album due out for release August 24. And they got signed to a US label, and they're rubbing our faces in it by sending out this wee teaser, so later they can laugh at all the saliva drip-drip-dripping down our chins.The song in the background is killer.

Driving force behind the Aussie quintet Alexander Gow has this to share, "I wanted to explore the effect of groove in songs that I had written very simply in a 'singer songwriter' fashion on the piano. To craft a song with passion and fervor and then see if I could then not take the typical singer songwriter approach to the recording." Oh yes. We can hardly wait.
