Don’t watch it at work.You know what else The Flaming Lips like? Colours. And Record Store Day. Yeah, we’ve written about Record Store Day before. But this time the focus isn’t on Bon Iver, it’s on the collaboration between Wayne Coyne and co. and NEW FUMES. Oh aren’t you excited to hear more tracks from The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends? Crazy, chill, naked tracks! Tracks you can hold in your arms on Saturday!

So this time there’s a disco ball, New Fumes’ Daniel Huffman in an animal mask the entire time, Coyne in a three-piece suit and eyeliner, whispered vocals, and did we mention all the naked chicks? It cant be said too many times, because that’s what this song is about: how weird they are apparently.

‘Girl, You’re So Weird’ is bass, synth and sex appeal. And it’s really fucking weird. Let’s have a listen to this piece o’ psychedelic pop one more time.
