Live Review: WATCH: Glass Towers 'Jumanji'

2 April 2012 | 3:25 pm | Staff Writer

Bryon Bay babes Glass Towers just put out the new video for 'Jumanji' - calling on tropes from the classic 80's film 'Stand By Me'

GLASS TOWERS have been getting a lot of airplay on the J's recently - and it's well deserved, the young foursome have put in a lot of hours touring (including a stop at CANT SAY), and travelling between Byron and Sydney for the sake of their art. Check out the video for their latest hit, 'Jumanji'.

A relaxed, melancholy tune, the video for 'Jumanji' features the boys wandering around near a railway track, casually throwing a football, engaging in boyish antics and just generally doing the young, carefree thing, very much hearkening back to that memorable scene from the 1986 classic film Stand By Me. It goes remarkably well with the lyrics and the backing music for the song. Have a watch, and get in touch with your inner carefree young adult male.
