The masked UK producer SBTRKT has just debuted an extra track titled 'Surely' since the release of his self titled debut album last year.

Surely’ was apparently a bonus cut on the critically acclaimed LP- coming out as a B – side on the ‘Hold On’ single, but it has only just found its way onto the interweb. It features a pretty raw, under produced drum introduction with Sbtrkt’s trademark creamy organ synth over the top. The bassy undertone throughout gives a similarity to melodies off his debut record, as well as giving it a totally Young Turks vibe.

One difference between 'Surely' and those of his debut release is the noticeable lack of both male and female vocal melodies including Sampha, which featured so prominently on many tracks of his LP. It may look like a concerted effort by the producer to shift away from vocal melodies and focus on charged electro synth melodies.
