What do you get when you cross a tiger with familial folk and dreamy vocal harmonies? TIGERTOWN, that’s what. Haven’t heard of them yet? Well, pay attention because this is one talent packed six-piece that is sure to become the next indie-folk sensation. Watch out San Cisco!

I caught Tigertown supporting Matt Corby last year and their live-show was truly captivating. Unsuspecting gig-goers were taken on a musical journey that was blissful and sweet, yet haunting with lyrics of unrequited love, hooking us in with their first note.

Their single ‘Go Now’ was recently released nationwide and was praised by Triple J veteran Zan Rowe “It grabbed me immediately. Great harmonies, hook-filled indie songs, and just a sweetness all round.” With their upcoming single ‘The Lion, the Witch and Me’ soon to be released you can be certain that more of their music will by sounding through the airways soon.

With surreal vocal harmonies and gutsy yet fragile folk sound, TIGERTOWN are the band to keep on your indie-loving radar.
