Live Review: WATCH: Dog Is Dead ‘Two Devils’

I wrote about DOG IS DEAD last week and wanted to follow that up with their newish music video. ‘Two Devils’ is haunting. Do you remember when you’d ride on the Haunted House and creepy dismembered hands reached out and grabbed your arm? And you screamed and it was embarrassing and everyone remembers that time Hannah was afraid of a man hiding in the dark? Yeah, the clip is just like that.

With images of beasts and devils encroaching well into vocalist Rob Milton‘s personal space, the video brings to mind Grimm fairy tales with a sprinkle of lots and lots of heartbreak- so more like a liberal seasoning. Milton describes it as a “tale of guilt and insanity stemming from a twisted relationship in which a girl falls sick.” I’m getting flashbacks already.

But musically? Lovely harmonies and the always stunning vocals of Milton distinguish this track from all the rest. It hits a note with me.
