Live Review: LISTEN: Kill City Creeps

Don't be surprised if Sydney's KILL CITY CREEPS arouse a little deja vu; whether you recognise vocalist Daniel Darling from The Dolly Rocker Movement or if their unmistakeably 60s and 70s influenced style. 

It's impossible to listen to their 5 tracker without making comparisons to bands like The Cramps and The B-52s but it's the bands simple formula that has kept it relevant.  The track 'I Got A Letter' is a perfect demonstration: solid beat and catchy chords building up to the kind of chorus you want to witness live.  A good dose of organ pushes their sound through the scuzz making their swampy garage rock a little more moveable.
