Fleet Foxes have dropped a video for our fave track 'The Shrine/An Argument' from their album. They'll be in Oz on tour later this year!
Fleet Foxes have the ability to pen those tracks that manage to inhibit a sense of relaxation and fascination at the very same time. The instrumentation is undoubtedly beautiful every time. And of course, we can't leave out the hauntingly perfect vocals, and the gorgeous harmonies that transcend throughout. Their track 'The Shrine/An Argument' would have to be one of our favourite tracks from 2011 album 'Helplessness Blues', so we're thrilled to have a visual representation to share with you.
The clip goes for 8 1/2 minutes, through many climaxes, plateaus and plenty of crescendos - and it will captivate your attention throughout. Directed by frontman Robin Pecknold's brother Sean Pecknold, it is ever so slightly trippy - with animated mythical creatures providing a storyline of sorts. Animated clips seem to be the way to go lately, and they've definitely done a good job at creating an interesting mini-film.
Good news for fans, they're hitting the festival circuit late this year/early next, and have a stack of tour dates to support their visit. Their Melbourne show and second Brisbane date has already sold out, so you'd better get in quick!
