Live Review: MP3: Junior Boys - You'll Improve Me (Caribou Remix)

I was absolutely head over heals for the latest Junior Boys album when it came out. My girlfriend got really sick of it because it's all I played in the car for the first half of this year. 'You'll Improve Me' is the 2nd single from the 2-pieces' 4th album 'It's All True' and I'm really excited to see that Canadian organic-electronica lords Caribou have been put on this remix.

To describe the final product as a musical journey wouldn't be far from the truth - it has several of definitively different sections. If you're looking for a vocal/club friendly remix of this track you're unfortunately barking up the wrong tree, this version only contains two lines of the song's original lyrics and is extremely mellow. It's a strong contrast to the 2 Bears 90's house inspired adaptation of the first single 'Banana Ripple' a couple of months ago.
