This week, Can't Say are bringing some sweet new talents from Sydney and Brisbane to Melbourne's fave indie party. Combining great music, with plenty of tasty beverages and tonnes of mighty attractive trendsters is what the guys from Can't Say do best, and this Friday will be no different. TOUCAN and TELEPROMPTER have the live music covered, while your fave deckmasters J HEASY, GLASS MIRRORS and AIRWOLF will have your bodies swaying and gyrating all night long.

TOUCAN are a Sydney duo made up of Jess and Shea. The pair met studying at the Conservatorium and found that their different musical backgrounds made for a unique collaboration.

Their quirky and original style makes for an interesting mix, combining both new and old. With a heavy base of Piano's, Organs, Synth and Keys the duo make for a dynamic team, with vocal harmonies aplenty!

Forming in early 2011, their debut single 'Brave New World' has seen them be Triple J unearthed featured artist and unsigned artist of the week on FBI radio's Up For It program.

TELEPROMPTER are a band from Brisbane, Australia. Formed in 2006, the band has been gigging locally and nationally since 2008 and have gained a reputation for their energetic and eccentric live shows.

Taking direction from the dancier side of post-punk, TELEPROMPTER have grown into their own unique sound. Recently, they have recorded their debut EP with Yama Indra of Gloves/Damn Arms fame, which... is set for release in late April (2011). The band's prior single, Boxcutter, has been well received by critics and has garnered a fair amount of play on Triple J since TELEPROMPTER became a featured artist on Unearthed. Since their inception, the band has shared stages with a number of well known international acts, touring with the Big Day Out festival in 2010, and also playing spots at the Parklife and Good Vibrations festivals.

Described by Faster Louder as "a danceable and charismatic treat", TELEPROMPTER have been building a large fan base not only in their home town of Brisbane, but to audiences both nationally and internationally.

Supports from locals; J HEASY, GLASS MIRRORS and AIRWOLF to keep you movin' and groovin' till the early hours of the morning!
