Live Review: STREAM: M83 Album 'Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming'

French shoegazers M83 have granted an exclusive stream of their newly released 6th studio album Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming to the Urban Outfitters blog. The band have opted to make this a double album; packing twice as much of their signature soaring, synth heavy, orchestral indie rock sound into one package.

What to expect? A shallow listen to this record suggests that it’s significantly more hooky than its predecessors, less sparse and far less soundscapey. M83 have done quite a bit of experimenting while making, this incorporating instruments such as saxophone, flutes, brass and strings into the recording process.
